What is a Facebook Ad Account?
A Facebook ad account is a tool businesses use to create and manage their ads on Facebook. It is a separate account from your personal Facebook account, allowing you to track your ad spending, create custom audiences, and measure the results of your campaigns.
Who can create new Facebook Ad Accounts?
Only Business Admins of the Business Manager (Full Control Access)
Steps for setting up an Ad Account:
Go to FB Business Settings.
On the navigation bar on the left side choose 'Ad Accounts'.
Press on the 'Add' button located right to the search bar, and choose 'Create a new ad account'.
On the 'Ad Account Name field' enter the wanted name of the account according to the following format:
Internal: PHSXXX {Netwrok Code} - PHS1022 CMD
B2B: B2B XXXX {Network Code} - B2B 1004 DSM
Leave the time zone and currency as it is (the timezone is UTC and the currency is USD$).
On this window choose - My Business ({Business Name}) and press 'Create'.
Assign people that you want to have access to the newly created ad accounts (also can be added later).
It's important to assign yourself 'Manage Ad Account' access in this phase for the connection of the Credit line.
Choose 'Add Payment Info' before clicking 'Done'.
Make sure that the screen matches this image.
Choose 'Business Payment Method' at the Add Payment Method screen.
βThen choose the Pesto Harel Shemesh Credit line.
In the 'Additional Invoicing Email(s)' field type: billing@pubplus.com and than choose 'Confirm'.
That's it, the Ad Account is now created on the Business Manager.

Add 'Full Control' (admin) users:
At least 2 users for each ad account created (SLS, AM).
Add 'System User' named: 'campaign-manager' (This will be used as a token to connect to PubPlus).
Add 'Partial access' users (no more than 2 per network):
Invite the user via email to the relevant Business Manager.
Assign the user 'Manage campaigns (ads)' access only to the ad accounts associated with their network.
There are 2 more steps that need to be done before connecting it to Pub+:

Add the newly created Ad Account to the Pixel assets:
On the Facebook Business Manager go to 'Datasets' (Under Data Sources on the left navigation bar).
Choose 'Echo Content Pixel'.
Choose 'Add Assets'.
Search and Mark the newly created Ad Accounts and choose 'Add'.
Add the newly created Ad Account to all Custom Conversions assets:
On the Facebook Business Manager go to 'Custom Conversions' (Under Data Sources on the left navigation bar).
Choose a custom conversion that looks like VV>{number} ( for example:VV>2, Do not choose P_VV> or anything that is not VV>)
Choose 'Add Assets'.
Search and Mark the newly created Ad Accounts and choose 'Add'.
Repeat this action for all Custom Conversions.

Add the newly created Ad Account to the Pixels assets:
On the Facebook Business Manager go to 'Datasets' (Under Data Sources on the left navigation bar).
Choose 'PubPlus Intent'.
Choose 'Add Assets'.
Search and Mark the newly created Ad Accounts and choose 'Add'.
Choose 'PubPlus Total Value'.
Choose 'Add Assets'.
Search and Mark the newly created Ad Accounts and choose 'Add'.
Add the newly created Ad Account to the Custom Conversion assets:
On the Facebook Business Manager go to 'Custom Conversions' (Under Data Sources on the left navigation bar).
Choose the custom conversion named: 'Custom Purchase'.
Choose 'Add Assets'.
Search and Mark the newly created Ad Accounts and choose 'Add'.
